Mickey was born in Pennsylvania 8 months
ago, and was adopted and brought to Jersey
City, NJ by a woman who just had to have
this puppy! She kept Mickey for a couple of
months then decided she didn’t want him
anymore.
This woman stood outside her
house near a large housing project (a place
known for Pit Bull abuses), and was ready to
give Mickey to the first person who said,
“Oh, I’ll take him!”
Enter Linda and A Call 4 Paws: Linda could
not see this beautiful, absolutely gorgeous
puppy going to “just anybody!,” so she took
Mickey under her wing. Linda made Mickey a
part of her family while searching for the
perfect home for him. Mickey was going to
simply live with Linda and her family for as
long as it took to find him the perfect
home.
After having lived with Linda and her family
for three weeks, he was adopted by a
wonderful family who absolutely fell in love
with Mickey on first sight!!! This family
brought Mickey to their Pennsylvania home
and proceeded to treat this beautiful little
guy like royalty!
A happy ending: Mickey is now a permanent
part of his new family. We don’t know who’s
luckier: Mickey or his new family, but we
know this was a perfect match: Mickey and
his new family were made for each other.
Mickey and his family now keep in touch with
Linda by sending her pictures of him having
a wonderful time, as well as pictures of
Mickey relaxing and enjoying himself.
This is a true story, and it exemplifies A
Call 4 Paws’ mission: rescuing animals and
finding a perfect match between furry
friends and humans.
